More than 100 people have registered to join our conversation tonight about affordable housing hosted by Coalition for a 100% Affordable 5 WTC, NYRA, Citygroup and the Clemente Center.
Logistics.
For those joining by zoom, click here. There is a waiting room and we will open at 6pm. We are working with professional streamers this time (credit where credit is due: Transcend Streaming), which means, fingers crossed, the audio and video should be much better quality.
For those joining in person, come to the Clemente Center at 107 Suffolk Street. It is a large place: if lost, we are in the Flamboyan Theater, on the ground floor. The rain has let up a little, which promises well for travel conditions.
The venue requires proof of vaccination, so bring that, and encourages audience members to wear masks, so bring those (though we will also have masks available).
Admission is free for all, but if it is manageable we will be encouraging a $10 contribution towards venue costs.
We have more than twenty presenters, including ten who will be with us in the theater and ten joining from places as far flung as India, Austria, Mexico City and Cambridge Boston.
We would be remiss not to encourage you to support our organization and start a subscription, and receive our April Issue, #28, that includes all of the submissions. You can never move too quickly when it comes to starting a NYRA subscription, but there is a bit of a reason to move quickly for this one: we only have twelve copies of Issue #28 left.
Looking forward to seeing you at this important conversation.
NYRA is a team effort. Our deputy editor is Marianela D'Aprile, our editors-at-large are Carolyn Bailey, Phillip Denny and Alex Klimoski, and our publisher is Nicolas Kemper.
