We have more than 130 people registered for this evening’s conversation with Daniel Barber, Elisa Iturbe, and Elise Hunchuck at 7pm about the IPCC report.

For those attending by zoom, here is the link.

For those coming in person, please be ready to show proof of vaccination and be sure to register at nyra.nyc/climate. We will have someone checking names based off our registration form in the lobby of 80 Pine Street. We are also happy to report we will be able to offer some pizza and drink.

The event is free, but if you want to help support its costs, we have a suggested contribution of $10 which you can send to us via the venmo handle @the_nyra

And if you are ready for a longer, more serious relationship, here is the subscribe link, and an alluring photo from a happy reader of the first issue you will be receiving:

Finally, if you have not done your reading yet, consider spending the rest of your afternoon making your way through the 170 pages of Chapter 9 of the IPCC report.

NYRA is a team effort. Our deputy editor is Marianela D’Aprile, our editors-at-large are Carolyn Bailey, Phillip Denny, and Alex Klimoski, and our publisher is Nicolas Kemper.

To pitch us an article or ask us a question, write to us at: editor@nyra.nyc.

For their support, we would like to thank the Graham Foundation and our issue sponsors, Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects and Thomas Phifer.
