Loyal online readership, we have an important announcement to make:
With the midterm elections upon us and rising prices on everyone's mind, we here at New York Review of Architecture decided it was time we did our part. We have therefore introduced a new basic “reader” subscription tier that is half the price of our previous print subscription: $48 a year instead of $96 (or $5 a month instead of $10). We have aptly named the new subscription option “Doric.”
Our only challenge is that even though we know there is no staple more essential than a subscription to New York Review of Architecture, current spending on New York Review of Architecture subscriptions lags other key consumer price index metrics, such as gasoline spending, which is on track to top $562 billion this year in America.
That aside, back to the real important stuff:
All our new subscribers will also receive a copy of our new issue, which has recently received some of the following accolades:
“Nothing prepares you for how gorgeous this magazine is in the flesh.”
“The new NYRA format, as I am sure you have heard from many, is fu***ing great. congrats on that. Dare say I want to read the Sunday paper in this format.”
“Love the new layout—excellent writing !!!”
So help us reduce inflation, bring down your cost of living, and bring some of the best writing on architecture into your mailbox by starting a subscription today.
Yours in publishing,
NYRA
