This is, in fact, we are told by our printers, an approximately accurate depiction of how a newspaper is made. Illustration by Sean Suchara.

Hello we are having a party tonight, at 6pm in Williamsburg at Arcana (143 Frost St, Brooklyn). There will be crafts and drinks and food and readings and a dance party. There might even be a new issue.

Contributors to that issue include Claudia Ross, Aaron Timms, Thomas de Monchaux, Marisa Cortright, Zach Mortice, Eric Schwartau, Kate Aronoff, Jake Bittle, Samuel Medina, Kate Wagner, Enrique Ramirez, Sean Tatol, Ellen Peirson, Will Orr, Owen Hatherley, and Lily Puckett. Some of them will be there. Some of them will even be reading from their pieces.

About those crafts: we will actually be rebuilding an old Eames table, live, together. Our hosts are calling it Recycleames. We think it might become a thing.

And about that dance party. Apparently it is a rave. We asked and they confirmed that is the technical term. It includes some good djs. And tamales. It starts at 10pm and goes until 4am. You can find all the information about it here.

Lots of people are coming. All of them very cool and interesting and captivating. You should, too: nyra.nyc/rsvp
